Conflict Resolution and Solutions Consultant
Helena Goto
Helena Goto is the founder of Goto Solutions, a consulting firm she established in 2013. Specializing in conflict resolution, culture development, and effective communication, Helena has guided clients from both public and private sectors toward sustainable solutions.
During the pandemic, as an Adjunct Professor at USC’s Sol Price School of Public Policy, Helena adeptly transitioned to virtual teaching and facilitation, refining her skills in remote education.
Helena’s career path took a personal turn when she homeschooled her three sons through the pandemic and then transitioned into a Senior HR Business Partner role at a finance company. While she found fulfillment in employee relations and performance management, challenges such as workplace bullying and encountering a toxic leader motivated her to seek new avenues. She authored a book empowering parents navigating divorce to prioritize honesty while preserving family unity before returning to consulting.
With an MBA from The University of Southern California (2010) and a Master’s in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University’s Straus Institute (2011), Helena combines a deep understanding of business operations with insights into human dynamics that drive effective teamwork and organizational success.
Originally from New Zealand, Helena now resides in Los Angeles with her three sons, ex-husband, and two rescue dogs.
